Supporting Small Business From Home

June 5, 2020

The COVID-19 Pandemic has shut down businesses across the globe, and people are at home now more than ever. With the stay at home order still in effect, many people turn to the internet for shopping. However, instead of ordering off Amazon, my family decided this year to support a small business on Etsy, which is an online site where people can sell their products.

Poppy Paws Shop on Etsy sells hand-made cat and dog collars, bandanas, and bow ties. Here is our cat, Cheerio, sporting a blue bowtie.
Poppy Paws Shop is out of Acton, Massachusetts, and was founded in 2019. Our cat, Chloe, looks stunning in her pink bow tie with white polka-dots.
The company is owned by Laura and Christine Codyer. Laura does the sewing, and Christina does the Media and Marketing. Our cat, Blinker, looks very dashing in his jelly bean bow tie.
For dogs, the company offers sizes ranging from small to extra-large, and for cats, they offer an adult size and kitten size. Voodoo, the cat pictured, is a bit camera shy, but she loves her purple bow tie!
Cheerio says: “Support small businesses!”
